November is here and we couldn’t be more pleased than to announce that for this month’s Pamplemousse Party, we’re hosting local hero, Keen, for a night of crisp, hypnotic, groovy beats. You may know Keen from the Subsurface parties in Philadelphia but he’s also been making his rounds round the globe over the past few years slinging records and moving dancefloors. We’re very pleased for his return to Pamplemousse for another intimate evening of high quality house music & dance on a dimly lit dancefloor in Fishtown. Won’t’cha join us? 🌃🌌

Keen

Subsurface • Philadelphia, PA

Keen is a DJ/Producer based out of Philadelphia. His love for dance music was found in the city upon his arrival in 2011. Since then, his energy towards the scene has had him steadily climbing the ranks as a go to name in the nightlife circuit.

As production manager and resident DJ of party series, Subsurface - he has helped push the boundaries in producing creative environments for dance music lovers. Keen has hosted and supported some of the world’s most notable underground acts. His efforts have also taken him across the globe. Playing festivals such as Dimensions & Trotamundo along with clubs & DIY parties in Dublin, London, Amsterdam, and all over the US.

Through a fusion of house, techno, & electro, Keen’s method in blending eclectic flavors & paths fulfills his goal in compiling a story and sculpting the space. His knack for unique cuts and custom edits reflect his love for extraordinary sounds & feelings.

Sam Tyler

Sam Tyler is a prolific producer from Chicago with releases on a wide array of international dance music record labels including Closer to Truth, Dustpan, Moiss, Elevated, Subcommittee, and even two Philly labels, Say Less Music & the Pamplemousse party's very own emby. He's held residencies at a handful of events in Chicago and is a humble ambassador for the Chicago house music sound.

The Pamplemousse Party is a monthly nightclub event focused on providing high quality house music and dance. It typically occurs on the 4th Saturdays of every month at the Liaison Room above Front Street Café on Front Street in Fishtown. The party's curators, Maggs Bruchez, have been producing house music and djing and throwing events in Philadelphia for well over a decade. Their focus on the music first ensures that the guests they book and the music they play themselves provides the Pamplemousse parties with a unique blend of forward thinking groovy dance music.
